Jamie Hall and Hillary Hurley were honored Wednesday night at the Vulcans All-Sports Award Banquet.

Jamie Hall and Hillary Hurley were honored Wednesday night at the Vulcans All-Sports Award Banquet.

Hurley, a senior, was selected the Most Valuable Female Vulcan after earning all-Pacific West Conference selections in volleyball and basketball. AHall, a freshman golfer, was selected the Most Valuable Male Vulcan. He won two NCAA Division II tournaments – St. Martin’s Invitational and Dennis Rose Invitational.

—Academic/Athlete of the year (Female): Chloe Nishioka, soccer

—Academic team of the year: Women’s tennis

—Head coach of the year: David Kaneshiro, women’s basketball

—Assistant coach of the year: Fred Entilla, Softball

—Staff member of the year: Diane Wissing

—Behind the scenes award: Richard “Grandpa” Maeda

—Community engagement award: Men’s basketball

—Volunteer of the year (male): Tim Eakins

—Volunteer of the year (female): Vicky Vrooman

—Vulcan Athletic Club booster of the year: Nathan Cockett
