The University of Hawaii at Hilo Jazz Orchestra is presenting an end-of-semester concert on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the UHH Performing Arts Center.

Under the direction of Terver Veilleux, the jazz orchestra comprised of UH-Hilo students has garnered a growing audience over the last few years.

These talented musicians draw their repertoire from varied sources — and there are always a few surprises. This special Cinco De Mayo show includes performances of music by such diverse artists as Stevie Wonder, Miles Davis, Frank Zappa, Steely Dan and more.

The concert is an open-seating event. Admission is free but donations are welcome, and the public is encouraged to attend. For more information, call 974-7310 or email artsctr@hawaii.edu.
