The state Department of Transportation has announced the following roadwork for Monday, May 21, through Friday, May, 25:

l On Volcano Highway (Route 11) in Mountain View, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Kukui Camp Road and North Lauko Road, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for roadside utility installations.

l On Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) between Ninole and Laupahoehoe, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Pina Kahuku Road and Middle Road, in the vicinity of Maulua Gulch, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for tree trimming.

l On Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in Laupahoehoe, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Old Mamalahoa Highway and Niupea Homestead Road, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for pavement striping.

l On Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270) near Mahukona, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between the 5- and 15-mile markers, 8:30 a.m.- 3 p.m. daily, for pavement resurfacing.

l On Kohala Mountain Road (Route 250) near Waimea, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between the 2- and 7-mile markers in the vicinity of Waiaka Junction, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for pavement resurfacing.

All roadwork is weather permitting.
