After its hearing before the Windward Planning Commission on May 3, the SPACE Performing Arts Center is continuing approved activities at its Seaview facility near Pahoa, including the weekly farmers’ market on Saturday mornings.
This summer, SPACE will be the location for two Hiccup Circus summer camps for kids ages 7 and up. The camps will be June 4-8 and June 11-15. The theme of the camps will be “Our Earth.”
The camps will be directed by Graham Ellis, the founder of the Hiccup Circus. Instructors will be Dave Rave and Susan Mielke, both professional circus performers. Tuition is $225 per week and some partial scholarships are available if registering by May 30.
