Beth “Granma” Ellen Bath, 84, died May 29 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Graham County, Kansas, she was retired from the clothing manufacturing industry. Survived by sons, Roy (Stephanie) Bath of Kurtistown and Philip (Rebecca) Bath of Kurtistown; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorial service June 16 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Orchidland Chapel. Visitation at 9 a.m. Service at 10 a.m. No flowers. Arrangements by the Roy Bath family.

Antone “Tony” Cordeiro Caravalho, Sr., 89, of Keauhou Mauka, died June 6 at home. Born in Hawi, he was a retired macadamia nut and coffee farmer and was the owner of Phillip’s 66 in Kainaliu and Kainaliu Used Cars. He worked for the former Kohala Sugar Company as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver and was a member of the Catholic Church and Kohala Puerto Rican Club. Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. June 14 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Kawanui, Kona, for a 10:30 a.m. mass with burial to follow in the church’s cemetery. Casual attire and flowers welcome. Survived by his wife, Adelia Caravalho of Keauhou Mauka; sons, Anthony Caravalho of Keauhou Mauka, David (Theresa) Caravalho of Keauhou Mauka and Christino (Hannah) Caravalho of Hilo; daughters, Irene Frederick of Kailua-Kona, Adeline (Michael) Silva of Kona Palisades and Annie (John, Sr.) Paul of Kaloko; sisters, Betsy Caravalho of mainland, Louisa Santiago of Kapaau, and Annie Travens of Capt. Minnie Barres, 102, of Kea’au, died June 7 at home. Born in Kapulena, she was a homemaker. Funeral service Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honoka’a. Charles “Chuck” E. Tudor, 70, of Pahoa and formerly of Jacksonville, Fla., died May 30 at home. Born in Ames, Iowa, he was a photographer. No services. Survived by wife, Nancy B.
