Korean War 62nd Anniversary ceremony set
The Big Island Chapter No. 231 of the Korean War Veterans Association of Hawaii invites the public — especially the families and friends of Korean vets killed in action — to its Korean War 62nd Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony on Monday, June 25, at 10 a.m. at the Hilo Veterans Cemetery No. 1 pavilion.
The short ceremony will include the posting of the colors, an invocation, a solemn service and floral presentations by veterans groups, said spokesman Bob Karp.
