Ichiro Yamaguchi, 89, of Waimea, died Wednesday at his home. Born in Makahalau, he was retired from Parker Ranch, an Army veteran, and member of Kamuela Hongwanji Mission, Japanese American Civic Club and Waimea Senior Citizens. John Teotimo Surigao, Jr., 82, of Honokaa, died May 2 at his home. Born in Hilo, he served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War and also lived in southern California for 55 years.
