Hilo will compete in the District 3 Majors Baseball Tournament, July 6-9 at Honokaa. Also participating in the four-team, double-elimination event are Hamakua, Kona and North Hawaii. In first round games, it’s Hamakua vs. Kona at 10 a.m. and North Hawaii vs. Hilo at 1 p.m.
