Lawrence “Mac” Hussey of Elk Grove, Calif., died Nov. 8, 2011, at his home. Born in Hilo, he was an anesthesiologist and certified asbestos consultant/industrial hygienist as a partner in Action Environmental Management Services in Sacramento, Calif. Celebration of life to be held Friday, July 13, at Wailoa State Park, Pavilion #3, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. A short blessing ceremony will be held at 11 a.m.; Refreshments to follow. Survived by wife, Janice; daughters, Michele (David) Carlson, Debbie (Eric) Knapp, and Sarah Hussey; sons, Lt. Col.
