Tsugio D. Araki, 75, of Kealakekua died June 30 at The Queen’s Medical Center. Born in Honaunau, he was retired as a coffee farmer, a service station attendant for Aloha Gas Co. and was a fourth-degree black belt judo sensei. Friends may call 9 a.m. July 21 at Central Kona Union Church; service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow. Aloha attire. Survived by son, David (Daniela) Araki of Captain Cook; daughter Susann Koli’i of Captain Cook; brothers, Tom Araki of Honaunau, John Araki of Oahu; sisters, Laura (Yoshi) Yano and Betsey (Robert) Ban of Captain Cook. eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
