Daniel “Robert” Hernandez, 61, of Kailua-Kona, died July 11 at his residence. Born in Los Angeles, he was the owner of Terra Farms and team scout for Holualoa Robotics Team, Thunderbots. Private services were held. Survived by wife, Liliana Hernandez of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Terra Hernandez of Kailua-Kona; mother, Velia Hernandez; brothers, Arturo (Joyce) Hernandez of California, David Hernandez of South Dakota and Juan (Susan) Hernandez of California; sister, Gloria (Ted) Bonde of South Dakota; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Cremation Services of West Hawaii.

Leroy Teddy Krause, 71, of Kurtistown, died June 11 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Maui, he was a retired electrician for Mauna Kea Electric. Visitation at 9 a.m., service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home. Survived by sons, Elroy (Dee) Krause of Maui and John Krause of Kurtistown; daughters, Eloise (Dave) Medeiros of Mountain View, Claudette Krause of Kurtistown and Tammy (Kema) Kanakaole of Maui; brothers, Manoke Lecker of Maui and Warren Lecker of Oahu; sisters, Jenny Viernes of Oahu, Tita Laeha of Maui and Ipo Laeha of Kansas; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Moira Kaleikula Kelekolio-Bright, 67, of Pahoa died June 25 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Handi-Van driver with the Hawaii County Office of Aging. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary chapel for wake service and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary chapel for funeral service. Burial to follow at 1 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Devin K. V. Morishita, 14, of Hilo died July 3 at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. Born in Honolulu, he was a student at Hilo Intermediate School. Ruth Kikuko Fujimoto, 94, of Hilo died July 4 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was the retired owner of Jupon Cosmetics in Hilo, secretary for the Hawaii Japanese Center, past president of the Hilo Women’s Club and National Secretaries Association, member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Hilo High School Alumni Association and founder of Musical Nostalgia in Hilo. Private services held. In lieu of flowers and koden, donations may be made in memory of Ruth Fujimoto to either the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin or the Hawaii Japanese Center. Survived by sister, Martha (Robert) Hipperson of Ewa Beach and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Gladys “Cherie” Azevedo Rodgers, 88, of Hilo, died July 4 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Makawao, she was an interior designer, artist and seamstress. Services to be scheduled. Survived by, daughters, Jean R. (Butch) Robinson of Honolulu and Joan A. (Mike) Stanghellini of Riverside, Calif.; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Stephanie Kaleohoneokekai Longwell, 51, died July 6 in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, she was an office manager for Island Taylor and member of the Hawaiian Kanaktion Canoe Club and Daughter of the Nile. Survived by husband, Steven Longwell; sons, Harley Tallett and Randy Billaber; daugther, Jennifer Billaber; father, Willibrord Tallett; mother, Pauline Ann Tallett; brothers, Kaiser Tallett, Clayton (Shirley) Tallett and Marc Tallett; sisters, Claudette (Jeff) Halpern and Theresa (Bob) Edwards; and two grandchildren.

David Gilman Nottage was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Tay Nottage. He was also a well known fisherman. A previous obit omitted this information.
