Who is the phony?

Who is the phony?

What do you call a person who runs for office and spends $90 million to hide his past history, from the issue of birth to schools? That is our current president.

Yes, he had two mentors — both of them were full members of the Communist Party of Chicago — who urged him in the direction he went. And on his road to success, he bought with him other members of that party and made them his staff.

Yes, Mitt Romney has some shortcomings. He inherited a fortune from his parents, who, by the way, gave it all to charity. He ran a company that took on failing businesses; they dumped the bad ones and rebuilt the good ones. But that does not mean he does not understand the feelings of the lower classes.

Yes, he has offshore accounts. How many in Congress have them as well? You would be surprised. One thing about Romney is he is not a part of the Chicago group. He is not financed by George Soros and the Service Employees International Union.

I am an independent voter. I look at both sides of every story. I vote for who I think might be the right person. Yes, I have made mistakes, as once a person is in office, their attitude changes.

They become brainwashed and forget the people who put them in office and become YES men to the leaders that control them. A shame, but that is life in Washington.

I am not saying that President Obama is a bad person. I look at his record. How much he has put our country in debt? He spent in three years more than the previous president spent in eight. He believes in taking from those who have and giving to those that could care less. He still blames someone else for the mess we are in. Yes, he inherited a mess.

That happens to each new president. He said he will fix it and bring new changes to our country. Has faltered on all his promises.

Romney might not be the best person. But is Mr. Romney the lesser of the two evils? Ask yourself that question. Are we better off now, or are we still looking for jobs and waiting for the cost of living to come down?

True, President Obama has said, “Give me four more years so I can fix the problems.” But could he not have fixed them in the first four?

We need a change in Washington. We need to get rid of the old cronies who run the government, We need to get rid of the ones believing is socialism. We need to get back to basics, like for the people and by the people. So ask yourself this one question: Is my elected official doing anything for me, or are they only interested in their own agenda?
