Arsenia Oasay Nicolas, 77, of Keaau died July 21 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in the Philippines, she was a retired macadamia nut picker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 7 p.m. Friends may call again from 8-10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Survived by husband, Domingo Nicolas of Keaau; sons, Robert (Prima) Nicolas, Lindbergh (Judith) Nicolas and Ricardo (Glenda) Nicolas, all of Keaau, Efren (Thelma) Nicolas of Hilo, and Caesar (Myla) Nicolas of Pahoa; daughters, Gloria (Tony) Salvador, Erlinda (Gerry) Buentipo, Maria (Nelson) Cabay and Marilyn (Bobsy) Gumayagay, all of Keaau, and Lina (Noel) Deguillmo of Honolulu; 23 grandchildren.
