Water will be temporarily turned off along a section of Kawaihae Road and the lower part of Kohala Mountain Road from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday due to nighttime construction on the Lalamilo Water System.
Water will be temporarily turned off along a section of Kawaihae Road and the lower part of Kohala Mountain Road from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday due to nighttime construction on the Lalamilo Water System.
Areas affected by the water shut-off include all services along Kawaihae Road west of Pako Place, including Lalamilo Homestead Subdivision, Parker Ranch Residences, Kamuela View Estates, South Kohala View Estates, Kamuela Plantation, Waimea Landmark Estates, Anekona Estates, Waiemi Place and Waiaka Street/Waiaka Place; and both sides of Kohala Mountain Road, including Hawaii Preparatory Academy, Lanikepu Place, and Ohiaku Place.
Upon the resumption of water service, the waterlines will be flushed and cleaned, during which time residents may notice turbid or discolored water, and trapped air in plumbing.
