James Richard Mason, 59, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 18 at the Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kailua-Kona, she worked for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs as a Cultural and Community Outreach Specialist, was a long-time member of the Kona Hawaiian Civic Club and sat on the Board of Advisory at Pohakuloa.
