Hawaii Learning Resource will partner with the Learning Disabilities Association of Hawaii to provide the free Parent Education Workshop “Is Your Child a Target of Bullying”?

The workshop will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Thelma Parker Library in Waimea. Participants will learn how to identify if their child is a target of bullying, types of bullying, and how to decide on appropriate strategies to help.

Learning Disabilities Association of Hawaii (LDAH) is an Oahu-based nonprofit organization founded in 1968 by parents of children with disabilities. LDAH works to enhance education, work and life opportunities for children and youth with disabilities by empowering them and their families through information, training and mentoring.

Hawaii Learning Resource offers workshops for parents and educators of diverse learners. Workshops are made possible through generous grant funding from the Hawaii Hotel Industry Foundation and Hawaiian Tug and Barge/Young Brothers, Ltd.
