The state Department of Transportation has announced the following Big Island lane closures Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., daily:

l Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270) near Makukona, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between the 5- and 15-mile markers, daily, for pavement resurfacing.

l Keaau-Pahoa Road (Route 130), near Ainaloa Boulevard, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between the 7- and 8-mile markers, for roadway excavation and paving.

l Kohala Mountain Road (Route 250) near Waimea, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between the 2- and 7-mile markers near Waiaka Junction, for pavement resurfacing.

l Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) near Waikoloa, alternating single-lane closures in both directions near the 14-mile marker in the vicinity of Saddle Road, for roadside utility work.

l Volcano Highway (Route 11) near Mountain View, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Kukui Camp Road and North Lauko Road, for roadside utility installations.

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All roadwork is weather permitting.
