Dr. Chalmers Ken Hamasaki, 75, of Hilo, died Aug. 20 at The Queen’s Medical Center, Honolulu. Born in Laupahoehoe, he was an ear, nose and throat physician and served as a U.S. Air Force navigator in the Vietnam War. Survived by wife, Elaine E. Hamasaki; two brothers, Roland Hamasaki and Ernest Hamakasi; three sisters, Dahlia Hamada, Ruby Shintani and Thelma Yasuhara. Private services. No koden. Arrangements by Hosoi Garden Mortuary.

Angelita “Angel” Satomba, 61, of Hilo, died Sunday at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was an administrative assistant and accounting clerk for Jennifer L. Gossert, CPA, and member of Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association. Friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; service at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #2. Casual attire.
