Big Island PaperJam Friday, Saturday at Hilo Hongwanji

The first-ever Big Island PaperJam will be held Friday and Saturday at the Hilo Hongwanji, and everyone is invited.

All told, there will be 21 hours of paper crafting fun and classes with Sally Pestana of the renowned Honolulu Happy Scrapper’s Jam, said coordinator BJ Soriano.

The fun starts at 3 p.m. on Friday in the Hilo Hongwanji admnistrative conference room at 398 Kilauea Ave.

Choose from the Pau Hana Friday Paper Jam, which runs from 3-10 p.m., with dinner ($20); the Saturday PaperJam, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with light breakfast and lunch ($35); the Saturday Night Owl Paper Jam, from 5-10 p.m., with dinner ($15); the Big Kahuna all-day Saturday event from 8 a.m. -10 p.m., with meals ($45), or the super-gonzo Got-to-Do-It-All Paper Jam Special, Friday-Saturday, with all meals ($55).
