Fire destroyed an apparently vacant house in Hawaiian Acres on Wednesday night, and Fire Department officials estimate the loss at $120,000.
Six units answered the 7:14 p.m. alarm with the first unit arriving on scene 18 minutes later. The fire at the Kea, aka “B” Road, house was reported under control at 7:50 p.m. and extinguished at 8:30 p.m.
Traffic was detoured to Koloa Moali Road.
No one was injured and the cause of the blaze is unknown.
