Betty Cecilia Kahanaoi-Tseu, 77, of Honolulu and Hilo died Sept. 4 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker and worked for the post exchanges at Fort Shafter and Marine Corps Air Station on Oahu. Private services. Survived by sons, Joseph L. (Vernette) Kahanaoi Jr. and Daniel K. Kahanaoi of Oahu; daughter, Kathleen I.K. Yukiko Murakami, 87, of Pearl City, Oahu, and Paauilo died Aug. 27 at Pali Momi Medical Center on Oahu. Alfred Obina, 89, of Hilo died Sept. 24 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kohala he was a retired parts salesman for the former Hilo Motors. William “Bill” Weza, 66, of Marshall Islands, formerly of Kailua-Kona, died Sept 13 in the Marshall Islands. Born in Ontonagon, Mich., he was general manager of Marshall Islands Resort, former food and beverage manager for numerous Hawaii hotels, including the Naniloa, U.S. Army veteran, and involoved with many boards and commissions throughout the Pacific.
