Kazuye Kay Ozaki, 101, of Kailua-Kona died Friday at her home. Born in Azuza, Calif., she was a retired grocer and a member of the Tri-State/Buddhist Temple in Denver. Joel “Joe” Patrick Nicassio, 65, of Kealakekua, died Sept. 8 at his home. Born in Los Angeles, he was a long-time Kona resident, active in the building industry and owner of BioMatrix LLC and Advanced Concepts Home Inspections. A private service was held.
