HONOLULU (AP) — The Hawaii Office of Elections is reminding citizens Monday is the last day people may register to vote in November’s general election.
City and county clerks will be accepting completed voter registration forms until 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Voter registration forms are available at public libraries, the yellow pages, the Office of Elections website, city and county clerk offices and at most state agencies.
The state elections office says currently registered voters who have changed their names or moved since the last election should re-register before the deadline.
People must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Hawaii and at least 18 years old to vote.
The general election is scheduled for Nov. 6.
