“Doo-Wop Wed Widing Hood” is a ’50s musical. The show is directed by middle school teachers Barbara Kopra and Kelly Buscher.

In the 1950s, hula-hoops are in high demand, and so is Little Red Riding Hood. Wise Prince Jason, winner of the Math Olympics and the Nobel Prize; Strong Prince Justin, who can bench press his own mother; and ordinary Loud Prince Frank all want to woo Red Riding Hood.

The king and queen hire the Fairy Godmother to set three tasks for the princes. Only the prince who can find the missing girl, defeat the dragon and awaken a castle visitor from her slumber earns the right to woo Wed Widing Hood.

Little Red’s couch-potato parents don’t want to lose their little girl, so they hire the evil queen to thwart the Fairy Godmother’s contest.

Luckily, Little Red Riding Hood’s two sisters — Big Green Riding Hood and Medium Purple Riding Hood — help balance out the situation.

The cast features Tristan Sienkiewicz and Rachel O’Toole as Mr. and Mrs. Hood, with Sarah Emmons, Violet Fink and Sidney Vermeulen as their three daughters, Green, Purple, and Little Red.

Colby Camero and Isa Richter are the king and queen, with Wolfgang Brennan, Braden Kojima and Tyler Alt as the three princes. Maya Krauss is the evil queen, Leia Acidera is the godmother, Chris DeSalvo is the wolf, and Rachel Siebert is the grandmother. The cast also includes Jackson Cootey and Thierry DeVost as the dragon, Angela Castile-Krasuski as Louise, Alexa Richardson and Harley Simon as ladies in waiting, and Coco Shafer, Millenna Seid, Sarah Schulman, Tehani Carter, and Kate Gargiulo as the Five Ladies.
