Survived by mother, Claire McLean of Raymond, Calif.; companion, Pamela Bittle of Hilo; sons, Nathan (Robin) Bittle of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Matthew Ferino Bittle of Kailua-Kona; stepdaughter, Paris Kapuniai of Hilo; sisters, Christine Bittle of Raymond, Calif., and Jeannine (Dave) Kelly of San Jose, Calif.; brother, Mark (Joanne) Bittle of Hilton, N.Y.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
