Kenneth “Kenny” James Bittle, 65, of Kailua-Kona, died Oct. 13 at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Santa Clara, Calif., he was a roofer, fisherman and gardener. Survived by mother, Claire McLean of Raymond, Calif.; companion, Pamela Bittle of Hilo; sons, Nathan (Robin) Bittle of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Matthew Ferino Bittle of Kailua-Kona; stepdaughter, Paris Kapuniai of Hilo; sisters, Christine Bittle of Raymond, Calif., and Jeannine (Dave) Kelly of San Jose, Calif.; brother, Mark (Joanne) Bittle of Hilton, N.Y.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Winston Kaaeae Peterson, 59, of Bend, Ore., died Sept. 17, in Bend, Ore, Born in Honolulu, he was a bartender and cook. Memorial service 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Keauhou Bay in Kona. Services for Tolentina Rubia Gragas have been moved to 9-10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial at 11:30 a.m. at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. The service is not today, as an obituary published Tuesday had stated.
