The public is invited to a day of Bible lectures on Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Edith Kanaka‘ole Multipurpose Stadium.

The theme of the event is “Safeguard Your Conscience” and is taken from 1 Timothy 1:19. The scripture says: “… Holding faith and a good conscience, which some have thrust aside and have experienced shipwreck concerning [their] faith.”

This is the second in a series of assemblies with the theme of “Safeguard.” This past summer, there was another assembly with the theme, “Safeguard Your Heart.”

The keynote speaker will be Ralph Walls from the World Headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses in New York. His discourse will be “Is Your Conscience Truly Guided By Bible Principles?”

Most of the speakers are from the Big Island of Hawaii. Abraham Lincoln, the circuit overseer of Hawaii Island, will present the part, “Clean from the Blood of All Men, How So?”

At 11:35 a.m. there will be a talk about dedication and baptism, by Matthew Brunetti of Kona. There will be experiences and demonstrations throughout the day. Ralph Walls will present the last talk of the day titled, “ Follow Your Spirit-Directed Conscience.” The Hilo program will be presented in English and the same program will be presented in the Ilokano language at the Kingdom Hall in Honokaa on Saturday, Nov. 3.

The doors are open at 8 a.m. The program begins at 9:50 a.m. and concludes at 4 p.m. The meeting is free and no collections are ever taken at programs of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
