Kahuku has been awarded the No. 1 seed in Division I and five-time defending champion Iolani the No. 1 seed in Division II.
The other tops seeds are:
• D-I: No. 2 Punahou, No. 3 Baldwin and No. 4 Kealakehe/Hilo winner from Saturday night’s game at Kealakehe. Both Kahuku and Punahou get first-round byes on Nov. 9.. Kahuku will then take on the BIIF champion on Nov. 1 while Punahou meets the Baldwin/Mililani winner in the other semifinal at Aloha Stadium.
• D-II: No. 2 Lahainaluna, No. 3 Konawaena and No. 4 Waimea. In the first round on Nov. 10, Waimea will host Radford at Vidinha Stadium on Kauai while Konawaena hosts Nanakuli at 7 p.m. at Konawaena. In the semifinals on Nov. 17 at Aloha Stadium, Iolani will play the Waimea/Radford winner and Lahainaluna will battle the Konawaena/Nanakuli winner. Game times will determine for the Nov. 17 games.
