The Hilo Woman’s Club will hold a rummage sale from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. on Nov. 10 at the clubhouse at 7 Lele St. in Hilo. The event will feature new and used clothing, jewelry, household items, books, toys and “other rare finds.”
The volunteers will provide a variety of baked goods, including malasadas, cinnamon bread, chocolate chip cookies and hot dogs for purchase during the event.
“Because of the support we receive from our club members and the community, our rummage sales are very successful,” said HWC President Beverly Heikes. “This one is going to be huge and we have a little of everything priced just right for every pocketbook.”
She invites everyone to come down to the clubhouse and look around for a great bargain.
“I am confident that you will find something you can take home,” Heikes said. “All proceeds will go directly to our community project fund to help support our college scholarship program, a children’s holiday party and many other good and worthy causes throughout the year.”
