Data released Wednesday by the Honolulu Board of Realtors of previously owned homes soared by around 30 percent in October.
Median prices also were up.
Data shows that the median price for single-family homes was $625,000, up 7.9 percent from a year earlier.
The median condo price in October was $325,000, up 6.6 percent from $305,000 a year earlier.
