Richard Lasher Strother, 74, of Naalehu died Nov. 1 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Aleamai, Kalaoa, he was a retired firefighter and truck driver, U.S. Army World War II veteran, former member of the Hawaii Army National Guard and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Honomu Branch.
