Nestor “Pat” Agbayani Gorospe, 91, of Vallejo, Calif., formerly of Pahala, died Oct. 26 in California. Born in San Juan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was a retired painter at Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, Calif., a U.S. Army World War II veteran and an avid tennis player. Visitation 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel on Oahu. Program at 10 a.m.; prayer service at 10:30 a.m. Committal service at 1 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual or aloha attire. Survived by wife, Januaria Gorospe; daughters, Priscilla Peligrino and Magdalene Peligrino; brothers, Benedicto “Ben” Gorospe and Guillermo “Andy” Gorospe. Arrangements by Mililani Mortuary.

Ken Osamu Yanagisawa, 43, of Hilo died Nov. 17 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama facility. Born in Hilo, he was a Hawaii Electric Light Co. planner and member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Visitation 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by wife, Penny Yanagisawa of Hilo; daughter, Miya Yanagisawa of Hilo; son, Landon Yanagisawa of Hilo; parents, Wayne and Kathryn Yanagisawa of Hilo; brother, Donn (Lisa) Yanagisawa of Keaau; maternal grandfather, Alex Inouye of Pepeekeo; parents-in-law, Tadashi and Joyce Higuchi of Hilo; sister-in-law, Stacey (Layne) Ohama of Hilo; one niece, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Jeffrey C. Webb, 60, of Waikoloa died Nov. 17 at home. Born in Hinsdale, Ill., he was a music industry tour manager, equipment manager and accountant, having worked and toured with James Cotton, The Doobie Brothers, Loverboy, Rod Stewart, Journey, Molly Hatchet, Starship, Hot Tuna, Billy Satellite, Night Ranger and Benny Mardones.
