Born in Laupahoehoe, he owned Hawaiian Express in Camas, Wash, was a former employee of Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and United Airlines Flight Kitchen in Portland, Ore., and a shuttle driver for Oregon Zoo. Celebration of life 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Alfiler home in Paauilo. Scattering of ashes at a later date. Casual attire.
