From left, South Hilo Rotary Club members Dayle Tejada and Gene Hennen prepare to install a lifesaving tube at Kings Landing last week. The club donated 24 tubes to the county that will be installed from Hilo waterfront areas to Kolekole Beach Park. Twelve have been delivered. Hawaii County Parks and Recreation stressed that the tubes are not toys and are not to be tampered with unless needed to save someone’s life.
