On Saturday, Nov. 17, the official dedication of the “Ronald Futoshi ‘Harpo’ Saiki Officials’ Stand” took place during the annual Saiki Bowl at Hualani Park. It was a special day honoring Mr. Saiki and his ohana. We would like to thank everyone that came out to take part in the dedication.

A huge mahalo to Allena and Wendell Vincent for holding the vision to honor this great man and carrying through with that plan. Mahalo to those who also saw this project through from beginning to end — Councilman Dennis Onishi, Ian Lee Loy, and Calavin “Coach Fats” Crum.

Mahalo to those who helped to clean and repaint the building, to Glidden Profession Paint Center for donating the materials to repaint the officials’ stand, and to Trophy Case for their kokua with the dedication plaque.

Last but not least, mahalo to the entire Keaukaha Warrior Football Association, Keaukaha Community Associatio, and Keaukaha Sports Association for your continued support.

Mahalo, Lindsey S.A. Iyo,
