The Alzheimer’s Association will present informational sessions on three Saturdays in February at the Aging and Disability Resource Center at 1055 Kinoole St. in Hilo.

The Alzheimer’s Association will present informational sessions on three Saturdays in February at the Aging and Disability Resource Center at 1055 Kinoole St. in Hilo.

The events on Feb. 2, 9 and 16 will feature a 9 a.m. series of programs, respectively, on “What Is Dementia,” “Legal Affairs in Dementia” and “Challenging Behaviors in Dementia.” At 11 a.m., a series of movies will include “A Time To Remember,” “Complaints of a Dutiful Daughter” and “Savages.”

There also will be a three-part series at 1 p.m. called “Living With Forgetfulness” for anyone who is forgetful and his or her family members. Attendees do not have to have an official diagnosis to attend.
