Kathleen Jessie Lofgren, 83, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 3 at home. Born in Minnesota, she co-owned a trucking and bus company, came to Hawaii in 1975 and spent every winter in Kailua-Kona. Survived by two sons, Charles (Jody) Lofgren of Wasilla, Alaska, Mike (Velda) Lofgren of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Linda (Charles) Bowers of Anchorage, Alaska and Pam Combs of Palmer, Alaska; brother, Ray (Violet) Harris of Rochester, Minn.; sister, Jean Francis of Onamia, Minn.; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
