This past Christmas season, the Punalights Synchronized Christmas Lightshow entertained folks from around the Big Island, while collecting donations for the Hawaii Island Food Basket.

This past Christmas season, the Punalights Synchronized Christmas Lightshow entertained folks from around the Big Island, while collecting donations for the Hawaii Island Food Basket.

“In 31 days, we collected $1,146 and over 640 pounds of food for the Hawaii Island Food Basket.

“The light show attracted people from all over the island, where people can park in my yard to watch 40,000 lights dance to 18 songs broadcast on 106.7 FM,” said chief lighting engineer and creator Stanward Oshiro.
