The state Department of Transportation has announced the following roadwork for Monday, Jan. 28, through Friday, Feb. 1:

l On Volcano Highway (Highway 11) near Keaau, lane shifts in the northbound direction in the vicinity of the Keaau Bypass Road intersection between East Palai Street and Keaau-Pahoa Road from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, for roadway reconstruction.

l On Hawaii Belt Road (Highway 19) near Kalopa, alternating lane closures in both directions between Kahawai Road and Hauola Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for guardrail installation.

l On Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 190) near Makalei, alternating single-lane closures between Hina Lani Street/North Kona Belt Road and Old Kona Village Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for roadway reconstruction.

l On Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 11) between Kaapuna and Kaohe, alternating lane closures in both directions between Waiea Road and Yee Hop Ranch Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for roadway reconstruction.

l On Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 11) near Kainaliu, alternating lane closures in both directions between Haawina Street and St. Paul Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for bank stabilization.

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.

All roadwork is weather permitting.
