Eunice Lois Bishop Barker, 93, of Honokaa died Jan. 21 at her residence. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Private services. Survived by daughters, Barbara (Joe) Johnson, Kathleen (Noa) Kaakimaka, Denise (Larry) Emmes and Elizabeth Dunlap; sister, Bernice (Louis) Jenkins; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Richard “Dick” Sherman, 70, formerly of Hilo died Jan. 15 in San Diego, Calif. Born in Los Angeles, he was a retired mortgage broker and loved hunting, fishing and was known for his boat the Pau Hana. Services and honor guard burial held in Tampa, Fla. Survived by son, Stacy of San Diego; sister, Shirley of Los Angeles, and various nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Josephine Peters, 93, of Waimea died Jan. 24 at home. Born in Laupahoehoe, she was a homemaker and member of the Annunciation Catholic Church. Visitation from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea; eulogy 9:30-10 a.m. followed by Mass. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Hawaii Hospice.
