Haruo Aoki, 75, of Kealakekua died Jan. 23 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Captain Cook, he was a retired journeyman painter and member of Kinuwai Kumiai and Kona Hongwanji Mission. Services held. Survived by niece, Xandria Tobara of Kealakekua; nephew, Rance Tobara of Kealakekua. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Gladys Kukana Grace, 93, of Honolulu died Jan. 17 at Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Olelomoana, South Kona, she was a master lauhala weaver-teacher and retired Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange employee. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Kaimuki Christian Church in Honolulu. Pamelia Lee Hubbard, 53, of Kapaau died Dec. 25 at home. Born in Roseville, Calif., she was a homemaker and was a library assistant in Placerville, Calif., and Bellingham, Wash. Richard David “Mac” MacQuiston, 81, of Keaau died Jan. 13 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Middletown, Ohio, he was a retired counselor at Pahoa and Waiakea high schools, a former Mountain View Junior High teacher and U.S. Air Force veteran. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
