Leslie “Les” C. Lund, 67, of Kailua-Kona died Tuesday. Born in Belleville, Ill., he served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam, was a member of the Moose and Eagles clubs, retired from the Ohio American Water Company in 2002, worked as personal aid to special needs adults and was a coach, mentor and unified partner for Special Olympics West Hawaii. Survived by wife, Kay; son, Kenneth Lund of Sugarland, Texas; daughters Jennifer (Todd) Watson of Ashland, Ohio; Lesley (Christos) Angelopoulos of San Diego, California; and six grandchildren: Jacob, Chad, Nathan, Lucas, Fiona, and Christos Jr..
