The ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center of Hawaii is seeking junior explorers and innovators in grades K-3 for the CAMP ‘Imi-POSSIBLE Spring Intersession Program to be held Monday-Friday, March 18-22.
“BLASTRO-Vision” is a fun, multi-sensory exploration of the expanding universe. Keiki explorers will be immersed in a week-long adventure of science experiments and activities using light, telescopes, optics and color. The final day, parents, along with keiki, will actively participate in the BLASTRO-Vision Ho‘ike, a celebration of new learning.
The camp runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 18-22. Drop-off is available as early as 7:30 a.m. with pick-up by 4 p.m. Lunch and snacks are not included, so pack a snack and lunch.
CAMP ‘Imi-POSSIBLE programs are supported by the Japan Foundation for Promotion of Astronomy through the Subaru Telescope.
Enrollment for the intersession program is open, but space is limited. Tuition for the program is $180 for members and $200 for non-members.
