Betty Shizue Abe, 75, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 14 at her residence. Born in Paauhau, Honokaa, she was a sales clerk at the former Liberty House and Macy’s stores. She was known for her beautiful orchids that she raised and sold at the KTA Keauhou Store. She was a member of Kailua-Shita Kumiai and Daifukuji Soto Mission. Private services held. Nancy Barawis David, 76, of Hookena died Feb. 4 at her daughter’s residence in Waimanalo. Born in South Kona, she was a baker for ABC Bakery in Waipahu and a retired custodian at Waipahu High School.
