The University of Hawaii slowed down No. 5 Oregon some, but not enough to stop a season-opening four-game sweep.

J.J. Altobelli had three hits and drove in two runs Sunday as the Ducks beat the Warriors 4-2 at Les Murakami Stadium in Honolulu.

UH is off to its first 0-4 start in baseball since 2004.

Austin Wobrock was 3 for 3 and ripped a line dive off of the ankle of Jeff Gold, knocking the Oregon starter out of the game with two outs in the fifth. Jordan Spencer relieved and pitched 1 2/3 inning to pick up the win.

Warriors starter Corey MacDonald (0-1) held Oregon scoreless through the first four innings, but he got into trouble with a leadoff walk as the Ducks struck for three runs in the fifth.

Altobelli tied the game 1-1 with an RBI single, and Aaron Payne drove home Shaun Chase, who had doubled, with a sacrifice fly. Brett Thomas followed with a run-scoring double.

Altobelli upped the lead to 4-1 with an RBI single in the sixth to knock out MacDonald.

Kaeo Aliviado hit a run-scoring double for UH in the bottom half of the sixth.

In 5 2/3 innings, MacDonald yielded seven hits, four runs and four walks with three strikeouts.
