Born in San Diego, he was a golf course foreman for Kukio Golf and Beach Club, member of Mana Christian Ohana, Five Mountain Fitness and Hui O Akau Ohana, volunteer Parks & Rec basketball coach for P & R and former Honokaa High School basketball coach.
