Segunda “Goding” Gandalera, 77, of Captain Cook died Feb. 21 at her residence. Born in Captain Cook, she was a retired housekeeper and worked at the former Kona Surf Hotel and the Kona Bali Kai Resort. She worked for C&W Maintenance as a maintenance person, and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
