Yoshio Takemoto, 92, of Ninole died March 10 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Ninole, he was retired from the former Mauna Kea Sugar Co., was an independent sugar cane grower, vegetable farmer and member of Honohina Hongwanji Mission.
