Everyone is invited to the Spring Equinox Garden Party Saturday afternoon in Opihikao to benefit the Puna Community Medical Center.

Tickets are $50 for the event starting at 2 p.m. Celebrate spring on the grounds of a world-class tropical garden with ocean views. Enjoy wine and cheese tasting, with pupus, in a beautiful outdoor setting, and have a chance to take part in a wine auction and maybe even win a gift basket.

Enjoy an outdoor concert of jazz by internationally acclaimed Italian guitarist Andrea Razzauti, accompanied by violinist maestro Adonija Imgrund.

A silent auction will offer beautiful plants and fine art, giving bidders an opportunity to spruce up both house and yard. The fundraiser will support the center’s ongoing operations.

“Go for the gusto and spring into spring in a big way,” said spokeswoman Rene Siracusa. “This spectacular event is at Hale Mohalu on Kamalii-Opihikao Road in Puna.

The wine tasting and auction start at 2 p.m., and the concert commences at 4 p.m. Garden tours and bidding on the silent auction plants and artwork will be ongoing until the winners are announced after 5 p.m.
