On Jan. 28 at about 3:25 p.m., the unidentified man touched a female minor while engaging in an indecent act on a Hele-On bus in Waimea near the Lakeland bus stop, police said.
The suspect is described as African-American, tall and thin with short dark hair. He was wearing a RVCA hat and white Beats headphones with a red cord. He may be in Hilo.
Police ask that anyone with information on his identity or location call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
